Catch that GoodHabitz sparkle

We're an international Ed-tech company active in almost 20 countries with 16 offices and over 400 employees worldwide. We're on the road to realise our mission: conquer the world with our online courses and make learning accessible, engaging and fun for everyone. We do so by offering online training courses though our cutting-edge e-learning platform. We love to combine fun with growth. That’s obvious from our online training courses, but it’s even more apparent in our working environment. It’s where we thrive. We believe in the power of growth, both personally and professionally, and our vibrant company culture reflects this.

We are currently seeking a Mid-level UX practitioner who has foundational mastery in the areas of UX design and UI design strategy. Ideally, someone who has an interest in exploring the overlap across UX design, product design, service design would be a strong fit - and through the interview process we aim to understand your specific skill set.

  • You will join as part of the Product and Engineering department. For this particular role you will be an “area lead” on the UX Team, with a focus on service design approaches and elements of the product that must consider the entire customer journey.
  • You are a big picture designer who can manage end-to-end projects and lead stakeholders and peers in making confident design decisions. Note: this is a senior, hands-on, individual contributor (IC) role and does not include direct line-management, instead you will lead projects and mentor juniors when able.
  • You will be responsible for creating a world-class user experience and aesthetic across web, mobile, and the broader product ecosystem, at times looking at internal-facing products. You will work closely with product and engineering counterparts, and play a critical role in shaping and defining how our different types of users onboard and experience the product and the entire EdTech service.
  • Your approach, thinking and deliverables will always be supported by user research insights and evidence as you partner closely with user research team members.
  • You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that UX vision of the product and service is clearly communicated and, therefore, embraced by peers with Product and Engineering and wider teams in the organization such as Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.

You don't have to be an expert in EdTech to work at GoodHabitz, but when you have interest in learning and personal development then we might be the right product and service domain for you to help design. Within the UX team, what we look for is people who like to get things done, can be flexible enough to work in a growing company, never hesitate to take ownership and autonomy for their work, and want to contribute to a world class EdTech product.

This is what you’ll be doing

  • Work with researchers to understand user needs and map our user journey.
  • Engage with stakeholder to ensure they understand your UX design reasoning.
  • Take ownership of UX design tasks when creating or redesigning areas of the product.
  • Collaborate with any business teams that overlap with your assigned design projects.
  • Work with product and tech to explore how “live” experiments can refine features.

Why you’re perfect for this job

  • 3-5+ years of experience contributing to the design of large-scale consumer projects (e.g. app redesigns, major product iteration, new verticals).
  • A visual UX design Portfolio demonstrating impactful UX solutions and clear, user-centered design thinking (we will want to see your work during the interview process).
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to partner cross-functionally to drive buy-in and successful outcomes for UX projects you own.
  • Commitment to a research-focused design philosophy and the ability to incorporate user research, user feedback, usability data and data insights into your design solutions.
  • Clear demonstration of visual and interaction design skills, prototyping, and understanding UX best practices (Figma is our current tool).
  • Demonstrated comfort in designing for web and mobile platforms and services.
  • A team player with brings enthusiasm to collaboration, empathy to communication and great problem-solving skills.
