This is what you’ll be doing 🔨
You’ll work on foundational infrastructure such as compute and networking, and drive the use of cloud native components. To support GoodHabitz’s growth into new markets around the world you'll design and build a global network and cloud infrastructure platform.
- Working with security engineers (on the same team) to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure platform and software supply chain
- Migrating from a local data centre to the public cloud (GCP) and transition the infrastructure architecture to a distributed cloud native design
- Collaborating with SRE's and software engineers to build a cutting edge, cloud native infrastructure platform for a smooth developer experience
- Bringing your own insights into what a distributed cloud architecture should look like in 2022
- Influence the adoption of new technologies and directly impact the platform team’s practices and standards
- Bringing fresh ideas and demonstrating a unique and informed point of view.
Why you’re perfect for this job ✅
- 8+ years of experience working with systems and infrastructure in a fast paced environment
- Experience leading major technical projects in collaboration with other engineers
- Experience working with a public cloud provider (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with cloud Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
- Familiarity with container orchestration such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Strong problem solver
- Passionate about the quality of systems and code.
